“This was a good game that also marked the 20th win for the Cereal. Sadly Frankenberry died in the 16th turn for the second time, hopefully third time isn't a charm.

3 votes, Head Stompa - She got knocked out in the first half but rebounded to play a strong second half. She got a Cas, but more important her skills hindered me more than a few times and caused me a headache.
2 votes, Loony Tossa - This Hall of Famer played a great passing game including throwing a long pass on a nice reversal play. Would have been gotten 3 votes had she not snaked a dodge which led to a failed scoring drive and my second TD.
1 vote, Back Break - Led the team in blocks and scored a Cas, though it came too late to help her team. ”
The match started in a bad way for us. The first turn saw 3 players stunned, and one dead (apoth failed). From then on, Ansalon played a near flawless caging game, leaving us with barely a glimpse of the ball for the whole half. Unable to deal out any real damage, we were 3 players down, and things were looking pretty grim. Unsurprisingly, Cap'n Crunch had no trouble taking the ball through for a touchdown in turn 8.
Half time score: 0-1
We finally managed to break some armour in the second half, knocking out a couple of dwarves, and even sending one off for the match! For the first time all match, we actually had more players on the pitch than our opponents! We managed to get one good foul in on Cap'n Crunch, however, the apothecary took one look at him and told him to stop faking it ... unfortunately for us, he listened, and instead of stunned/KO, he was sitting there right next to the ball carrier in the middle of our cage. Doh!
Being the star that he is, Crunch took down the ball carrier, collected the ball, and started making his way towards the end zone. Unfortunately for him, he slipped on something, I still don't know what, and fell flat on his face, allowing us to recover the ball. Unfortunately for us, it had given the rest of the team time to reposition themselves, and we were left in a dangerous position - our only option, to make a switch play, which was very nearly successful.
Despite putting in quite an effort to make the play happen, Loony Tossa choked when it came to clearing the zone on the ball carrier (snakes of course), and from there, things really stopped going to plan. Some cunning moves saw us get a 1d blitz on the ball carrier... unfortunately, the loose ball landed right in Count Chocula's waiting arms, and Loony Tossa was unable to capitalise on it. Anyway, from there, things didn't improve, and the duo of monster bull centaurs made a passing play that left us just out of range for the blitz. Although we managed to mark him, Cap'n Crunch calmly shook off Back Breaka and Head Stompa, and strolled in for another touchdown in turn 7.
As a consolation prize, Back Breaka took Frankenberry's head off in the final turn of the match (if only it could have been one of those nasty bulls instead...)
Final Score: 0-2

3 pts - #12 Cap'n Crunch
Well ... I don't know if I need to say much about this one. Untouchable monster of a bull. We never really had a chance of stopping him (though when he set up a little close to the sidelines, I was hoping to have a shot at surfing him). Definitely the star of the match.
2 pts - #7 Count Chocula
Although he didn't quite shine so much as his counterpart, this bull centaur was critical in preventing us getting an equaliser. Catching the loose ball, and then making a mighty fine pass to Cap'n Crunch ... well, if it weren't for that play, this match would most likely have been a draw.
1 pt - #6 Lucky the Leprechaun
This was my far the most irritating of the dwarves. With an excellent combination of skills, he repeatedly got in the way in the first half, making it near impossible to get a hit of any sort on the ball carrier, let alone a decent one.
Notable mentions:
#9 Crackle! - a turn 1 kill from this guy (even if it was a foul) gave them the numerical advantage needed to dominate in the first half.
#4 Trix Rabbit - side-step stopped us from being able to score an equaliser in about turn 5 of the 2nd half.”
