“A very difficult match played in the pouring rain. An unlucky trip by the Boyz ball carrier in the backfield in the opening minutes of the game (failed GFI, failed reroll) allowed the League to swarm all over them.

A titanic battle for the wet slippery ball followed, with the League hitting with incredible power whilst the Boyz could only push the odd player around (the luck was 40% to 74% for the first 5 turns or so).

However, eventually the Boyz managed to string together a few good hits and ran the ball deep and just managed to run in a difficult TD.

In the second half, the League started in offence and found themselves under pressure when a player tripped in the Boyz half in the middle of a play, leaving a big gap in their line. The Boyz rushed through to cover the ball.

The League's awesome blocking in the first half deserted them as they could not do much to the Boyz whilst the Orks hit back with extreme power, knocking out player after player as they sent more and more players rushing at the ball.

With only a few players left on the pitch, the League were unable to stop the Boyz from stealing the ball and scoring a last second TD to seal the victory.

A very very hard fought game despite the 2-0 scoreline. It could easily have been a 0-0 draw. Well played by my opponent who had some bad luck in the second half.”
