Nuffle has been completly merciless against all my teams since I came back from my vaccation and the July orca-cola tournaments have just been one huge disaster. Wrath of Amu Nesehu became the 4th team to get booted in the first round and the only remaining one are only through thanks to the opponent not showing up.

This was just one big disaster from the start, and bamf's luck rate needs to be explained by that he got 2 perfect defenses, 1 get the ref and also withstood 5 rounds of 3 dice blocks by my mummies. The blocking game was just awful by the khemri and they stacked up an insane amount of skulls or skull/pows. Immaga for example died when rolling double skulls on a block. I also had a mummy KO'd for a while after not getting past hit/pow. The elf was proned and the mummy got knocked out...

I could and should have defended my ball carriers a lot better, but when I realized that I had lost the match I was more interested in causing casualties up front than caging myself to a possible 1 - 3 defeat.

The only thing that worked was the pick-ups, but because of the failed blocking game I rarely even had time to form a proper cage.

Thanks for the match, bamf. It will be tough in round 2 with those MNG's, but at least they weren't crippling injuries. Good luck!”
