“Summersmash 2nd round match.

Despite my orcs inabilty to pickup the ball or pass it... repeatedly! And double skulls eating up my rerolls we finally managed to score in the 2nd half. Pretty Frustrating game.

Going into the match i new my orcs were the stronger side with more gaurd and strength, they key would be shutting down the Bulls and removing any guard/high str players i could.

I was lucky with the handicap (i am the greatest) which immediately meant only 1 bull could be on the pitch :)

Osirus Chaos dwarves received first and i concentrated on holding a strong line agains them and trying to force them back, which i did slowly.

Osiris used his DP in the first turn and the 2nd on the troll which then got sent off. I bided my time before using mine until i had his STR4 CD surrounded.. then the boot went in RIP! apothed tho, next turn fouled him again for BH but got sent off.

Slowly the Dwarf line crumbled and my str4 blitzer i had held in reserve throughout crashed thro the line, BH the troll in the process and went after the ball carrier with most of the rest of the DC's prone.

Osirus sent his ball carrier running to the other flank but he got floored anyways but i failed a pickup. CD tacklezones then appeared on the ball which i removed... my ag4 lineorc got the pickup and tryed to handoff to a blitzer for the score.. handoff failed. Half ended 0-0.

2nd half started with more frustration, the kick was pefect resting right on the halfway line. My blitz to remove the tacklezone from the ball caused a turnover on a GFI... the chaos dwarves then moved a hobgob to pickup the ball in a tacklezone, and throw in a tacklezone for a bull to catch it!

Despite our numbers advantage we began to think this wasnt out day.....

My orcs then set about smashing dwarves again and controlling the field, threatening to surf some of them.
Eventually that ball went down and with my awful handling so far i sent in my ag4 lineorc for the pickup and stall/score with no funny business trying to handoff or throw! a Semi cage down the sideline did the job while my orcs had fun trying to bash more heads.


gg osirus. That handicap at the start really hurt you and in the end my extra numbers/guard were too much.
