“A first for Ogreat, and a first for me using Ogres!
Things didn’t start out too well, with the first three ogres failing to do anything but look dumb. The other two however did manage to throw a block and lead the charge to the right flank.
Despite this, I was encouraged by Prurple’s hangover that lead him to forget to do his obligatory gobo blitz with a Chaos Dwarf.
The Ogres moved deeper into his half and readied a Gobo within TD distance. By then though Purp had got most of his Dwarves free of my Ogres and built himself a nice protective wall that would have been risky for me to dodge through… “no problem – we can throw Gobos”… it was then I realised that I really didn’t know the rules on throwing Gobos at all. :D
Purple was little help on the topic, him being a nOOb and all, so I went to chat to find out. Pac provided the answers in his usual, less than verbose, curt, manner ;)
After all that the blasted Ogre rolled snakes anyway, but the bounce at least was kind and landed behind a couple Ogres.
From there I opened up Purps defence a bit by sneaking a gobo through and threatening the Handoff. But finally settled for a straight Rush to the endzone!
The half ended with 2 turns left for the CD. A lone hobo got within scoring distance, but alas with no RRs, and a fairly hopeless chance even if there were some, the drive came to nothing.
The second half went pretty straight forward for Purple… his Bull Centaur got the ball, which was kicked deep into his half, and walked it deep within mine after four turns or so. A brave little Gobo blitzed with a -2d and knocked them both over – this forced Purple to re-evaluate his game strategy and opt for the draw, all the while that same little Gobo was later killed for his audacity!
Another failed TTM for the Ogres ended the game a draw.

A very enjoyable game, I hope that my others with these guys will be just as fun… and if I can pull a draw out against a hung-over Purple, I may yet manage a win soon enough! :)
“Yar - one of the coolest things about playing Sera are his ever entertaining reports - nice one! :D
I, however, am a fluff n00b in the same way that I'm a TTM rules n00b (and after the game, my star turn - "I'll hire an apo... Wait! I clicked on wizard! \o/), so I'll keep it brief.
Fun game, and despite the hangovers, fun chat. The -2db Gobbo blitz without RR was the vital move of the game, and caused me (as Sera says) to opt for a safeish draw. Stunning the Bull with this kamikaze move was top quality, and no more than he deserved for showing the skill/balls to try it. Other than that - my dice throughout were excellent, and Sera played his offence well, deserving his score. Skilling a Bull in game one is always a great result.
Hope we meet again soon - [L] division FTW!”
