The early blocks (starting with a RIP in round 1) were devastating this game and this game us the numbers advantage. However, Morley's revenge struck both bulls. In the first half we had 1 bull (Anika) available. The lizards took the ball to start and we were concerned about the speed of the skinks. They did an end around and nearly got into the clear - only 1 dwarf could reach with 2 gfi...several blocked got the dwarf free, then 3 gfi with the bull centaur to provide an assist on the ST 3 skink and 2 more gfi from the dwarf and skink was down (and badly hurt). We picked up the ball and were off the other direction, but time was running low and a wizard's fireball nailed our AG 4 ball carrier and badly hurt a dwarf. So the first half ended in a 0-0 tie.

We received to start the second half and fortunately both bulls were available. An early foul badly hurt the Drago Queen and we pushed upfield...the lizards were losing players left and right and soon were down to 5 left on the field. We could have scored - but with morley's revenge, it was quite possible we would be outnumbered 8-7, so we waited two turns and scored the decisive TD on T16 for the 1-0 win.”
