“A game played entirely in a Blizzard!

Neither of us noticed it was a 3 handicap game and the Cadavers happily took the following:

Doom and Gloom
Iron Man
I Am the Greatest

The Cadavers started in offence and after KOing 2 players, went to foul the third and got sent off straight away!

The Braves fought back and got sent off too with their foul, but theirs caused a casualty (not apothed).

The Cadavers kept breaking armour to get a player advantage as they KOd 5 players and injured 3 (1 apothed) and scored late in the half, but they got a player sent off for fouling the prone Mighty Blow Tackle Dauntless Blitzer when the Eye was on them.

With two sets of rolls for KOs before half time, the Braves were back to 10 players whilst the Cadavers only had 9 (2 injured without regen and 2 sent off).

The Braves started in offence but failed to pick up the ball after using a reroll on a failed Dauntless blitz.

The Cadavers pushed and both teams got one player sent off by the ref without the Eye, though the Cadavers only caused a stun and the Braves caused a BH.

The Cadavers were outnumbered, but absorbed the hits and started to even the numbers, with two casualties caused in 1 turn.

Eventually the ball was knocked loose and both teams fought for it hard.

The Braves broke out down their right wing for a last second chance to score and the Cadavers having no reroll (early double skulls I think) chanced a 3+ dodge to get 2 dice on the blitz and knocked the ball player over and there were no Braves left in range.

A challenging game despite getting up in numbers midway through the first half. The Braves won the fouling war (2 casualties and 2 send offs from 3 fouls, whilst my 3 fouls got a casualty and a KO and 2 send offs) and the Braves had developed Blitzers which were a handful (Blodge Sidestep, one with Tackle MB Dauntless).

A fortunate win for sure.”
