“This was a frustrating match indeed, after a pounding ny Chewies Dwarves and then coming out with more SI against Purplegoo I had two more to cope with.
After a good defense the first half where Sera showed his lack of flair with Elves, and I kept it a clean sheet at half time, things got worse. My offense fell apart with the secong action with a double 1 rolled on a GFI to create the screen sheltering the ball carrier.
From there on in Sera played Chaos Dwarves all the way down the pitch blocking and stalling to prevent me getting a late equaliser.
Even in my final teun the want of a comp for a Skill caused me to roll a 1 and deny me that little crumb of rewatd for a game against this machine!
Scheduled games only now against this guy as it annoys me too much losing to a lucker like him! :P

EDIT: Sera is mistaken, I was not annoyed at that failed score but the one where I broke you on my right and then failed a GFI twice leaving me exposed.
That was before the incident you mentioned previously, I was not annoyed at the move you described as I was just trying to use the best option left to me by then. :P”

The Isolationists were in surprisingly competitive spirits, their cocky coach pronouncing that this would sort out who the best of the best in the realms of elves were. When we politely pointed out that the Wood Elves defeated them just recently, they retorted that: “That didn’t count!”.
It seemed the ill disposition of the Dwarves they had faced earlier had obviously rubbed off on them somewhat.
We received the ball and began to pass it amongst ourselves again, whilst taking the time to try and capitalise on the scantly clad forms… unfortunately, if you can’t knock them down in the first place, it hardly matters what they choose to wear. The Isolationists not only put our men down, but also began sticking the boot in as they did… what has become of the Freeworld?!
The first half appeared to be a game of Chess… and we were unable to break through or cause much damage.
The second half they received and broke to our flank… one of their team got unnecessarily close to a tackle, and try as he might to dodge, he could not and fell… taking them all by surprise. Seeing our opportunity we dove in… pressuring the ball.
The Isolationists then made a bold move, they picked the ball sprinted over to the flank, threw and caught it, ran to a Blitzer that was covered by 2 men, handed off the ball then attempted to dodge… they failed at this hurdle.
From that point on we controlled the drive, making a quick pass and caging the ball to the endzone, all the while using quickly increasing numbers to keep the Isolationists at bay to make the game 1- 0!

I played this game whilst watching the OBBA Cup final, and it showed in the first half when I thought I had 1 more turn left than I did. :)
Nevertheless, Russo’s eagerness to score with elves proved his undoing when after making a completion then trying for a 4+ handoff, a 3+ dodge followed by 2+ to get into scoring position all without a RR… then got annoyed at me when it failed. :D
I took the ball from there and held on to it to get the win… at the expense of Russo stating he will never play me outside L again!
So… it was two victories really! ;)
