“Permanent Plutocracy took the field against Division bashing rival Foul! Stench. Off to a good start with a blitz, the Bull-Centaur couldn’t handle the rock. The trio of undead ghoul’s quickly recovered and worked the ball downfield. The Chaos dwarves who had over-committed could not recover and the ghoul danced into the endzone to put the Stench up 1-0. The ensuing kick saw both the Plutocracy troll and a Stench Mummy KO’d for nearly the rest of the game.

The dwarves worked the ball downfield and scored as the first half clock expired.

Receiving the kickoff, the Chaos Dwarves marched the ball downfield and took up a protected position near the endzone with the ball, Da_Todfatha’s halftime game plan speech had detailed stalling to give the undead no time to equalize, however the undead had other ideas and pressed Lord Thompson of Fleet to score with 3 turns remaining. Each passing moment, Da_Todfatha reminded himself to use the wizard he had hired, but when the time came in the waning seconds of the game, the wizard failed to perform (I freakin forgot!). Nuffle took pity on him however, and caused the Stench zombie that was shambling to blitz a chaos dwarf off the ballcarrier, to eat turf. The chaos dwarf coach was carried off the pitch to the chant of “Lucker, Lucker, Lucker!!!!!”

Next match will be vs. Bampf’s beat up but incredibly skilled elf team in what pundits are calling “Between Sgt. Rock and a hard place.”
