A fun game vs a fun opponent. The game ended up being very lop-sided as my opponent was rusty (making a few errors) and some insane casualty luck by the Falcons.
The Hattrickers started in offence and used 5 players to try and send a Falcon out of bounds using Frenzy, not seeing that my guy had sidestep! The Hattrickers brought everyone back to protect the ball except one player who failed his dodge and KO'd himself so they had no-one in scoring range!
The Falcons closed in, leaping a player into the cage on the sidelines, and then using a chain push to send a player out of bounds. The player shunted into the crowd was BH, and so was the player who was knocked over - 2 BHs from one block!
The Hattrickers used their own leap to set up an OOB play but luckily for the Falcons, their star player (124 spp) was only stunned.
The Hattrickers were under pressure and lost the ball. As they tried to chase it down, they had a player fail a dodge and cause himself a MNG. Not wanting the game to slip away, my opponent used his apoth and this proved to be costly later when a RIP was caused.
The Falcons were in commanding position and went to score, only needing a 2+ dodge with RR but got a snakeyes and lost the ball!
The Hattrickers used their AG5 leaper to jump on the ball to save 1 MA and he snaked and KO'd himself!
This let the Falcons back into the game and they stole the ball again and scored.
The Hattrickers due to the heavy casualtiy count fielded 8-10 players each drive for the rest of the game and did not have the numbers to stop the Falcons from running rampant in the second half.

It was a very funny game with lots of laughs, though it turned quite one sided after a while due to all my casualties. A bit of a luckfest for the Falcons who finished with 63% on the luck meter and 4 blocking cas without use of Mighty Blow whilst my opponent rolled many more 1s and a lot less pows. A shame about the killed player.
Varkon Darkblade got 17 spp in his debut match, and got +AG and a double for his advances :)
Anyways, I enjoyed that game and look forward to playing you again sometime Gansus, good luck with your team in the future.”

I made a lot of mistakes (i think i dodged 4 times or so when not needed, just by missclick/misswatch) and, while not terribly unlucky, malthor was lucky in most important thing when you are in the beginning of the match: injuries. Man, you gotta see that double bh when making chain push to get one of my players surf the crowd: awesome!
About the play when i tried to push out, i had a plan, and it was feasible, even with his side step, but then i decided i had a better one... which did NOT include side step, lol.
As malthor said, i used my apo just in a player missing next match, but as i had a maximun of 11 to play in that moment, i thought not doing so was losing the match (not much difference in the end, he). Of course, nuffle punished me by getting another player killed later in the match.
As a summary, a defeat, but with a lot of fun and versus a coach i had never played, and that inmediately entered my whitelist :)) See you again, malthor!”
