“A wonderful day for bloodbowl greeted the 75,000 fans who turned out to see the top of the table clash between the bitter twisted souls and the bright, bouncy young things. It was going to be a close game, and both sides were going to do everything they could to win.

It didn't take long for the Fraudsters to realise why the peppy zons were top of the table. A lightning fast touchdown after Miss Skase knocked herself out trying to push someone into the crowd was the punishment the fraudsters suffered for not keeping their eye on the ball. 1-0 to the cheerleaders.

So how to find a way back into the game, the scheming minds of the fraudsters went to work immediatly, with one young lady in the KO box and other BH after the first turn! However, the agile zons spread themselves like a young lass on prom night, and before you know it, the Gang was slowed to canter and the touchdown line looked an eon away. All was not lost however, and a constant stream of cas made it harder for the ladies to hold their defensive line. Unfortunatly for poo Tahlia she found herself pushed up against the screaming and to this point dissapointed Fraudster fans and paid dearly. It went right down to the wire, but Christopher Skase made a break for it and scored in the corner right as the siren sounded. 1-1.

The second half was played against 7 women, and after recieving the kick off the Gang again made slow process. The resolute defence of the Zons held together until again KOs and a second BH lead to their line being breached. This time it was Susan Denice Brown who crossed to score and give the Gang their almost expected second touchdown 2-1.

With so few players, the cheerleaders were only able to get one person into scoring range before the end of the game and she was pushed clear by the rampaging Christopher Skase. The game ended with a sweet, but hard fought victory to the Chain Gang.

THe wash up from the game was not all peaches and cream however. Man of the match Dennis Kozlowski got too carried away extorting money from pensioners and dropped a bottle of aged red wine on his foot, breaking it, and thus rendering himself unable to move at any great speed. His lack of mobility may be his downfall, as the coach has already put his name in the middle of the line of scrimmage for the next game vs Davosaurus. Also, the dissapointing income from the gate meant that the Gang were not able to attract the services of another witch elf, but rather settling for a blitzer.

A very good tough game vs the Zons who had definently earnt their place at the top of the table. ”
