“Going into this match the stunts were surprised to see that the Dark Elven wizard wasn't sitting in the dug out and were hoping this would be the mistake that would lead to victory.
Sadly the kick off saw the sneaky elves rush the slow stunts with a blitz and although there were some decent chances there was no way to avoid the 1-1 for the stunts going into half time.
Kicking to the Darkies was always going to be tough to stop and the stunts continued doing what they do best... bringing the pain... while the Fury marched in their second goal steadily running out of players.
The rest of the half saw the stunts continue to bash the darkies into submission, but a late failed throw straight into the hands of the waiting elves, followed by a punt into the empty back field looked like victory would go to the Fury. Thankfully The 6th Day was on form and managed a pass, hand off, gfi, TD to level the game as the ref blew the final whistle.
Another Draw for the Stunts, but also the 3rd straight game with 2 players of the other team forced 6" under or into retirement.”
