This is the first E.L.F. match for this team. The Birds of Prey strategy is to play the Brutal Catigory: Khemri and Dwarf early before getting dodge skills or the Mummies get block.
The first match vs Khemri went exactly as planned. BoP won the coin toss and scored on turn 2. During the Rahmen drive the elves dodged away from the mummies and man marked the skeletons hoping to force turnovers. BoP was able to stop the TD drive and went into second half 1-0 with only 2 player SI. Yeah!
BoP was able to take advantage of the Rahmen low movement / agility and beat them to the ball at the start of the second half. The elves ran into the Khemri backfield and delayed for the next 5 turns while the Mummies knocked down elves and the skeletons fouled them.
BoP scored on turn 8 coming away with only two permanent injuries. One because of an apothocary failure.”
