SteelThunder had a great (what turned out to be game saving) blitz at the end of the first half. Other than that (and the dead Line Dwarf) it was a slug fest with lots of guard and lots of shoving. I actually had a lot of fun, despite rolling double skulls on my first block a couple times.”

That said, the Blitzers finish out their last game in a dismal season following a good run in their first round with the NWL. Perhaps next time the Bltizer's coach will remember to have his children tended to rather than doing it himself on the sideline while trying to call in plays to his players.
Despite some distractions, this game went pretty well. We should have scored in the first half, but thanks to a game-saving tackle, things went even into the second half.
Coach Meech tried his best at hammering our team, and succeeded with a crushing block on longbeard #98, Casey Slampton. The apothecary was not available to save him, having used all of his healing herbs at the beginning of the game on Crush Hoke, ensuring the Blitzers had a full 11 man squad with which they could finish the season with.
Good game, and though the Black Fire Pass Blitzers drop back to the Fringe, This will allow them a season to rebuild and move onward to glory another time.
