“This match was really a lot of fun, even though I was a wee bit uneasy about all the mighty blow I was going up against.
I blew a pickup (after clearing the area of any support) off the opening kick, and that opened the door for the dwarves. The humans took a bunch of KOs (4 of 5 came back at half, though) and the dwarves rolled in for the score as the half expired.
The humans took a lot less damage in the second half, and were able to generate a turnover and score somewhere around turn 5. AG4 + sure hands saved the day.
The dwarves blew their own pickup on the following kick and the humans were able to put pressure on the stranded would-be ball-carrier. Once again, AG4/sure hands was key in scoring, although a hilarious sequence effectively ended the game as a dwarf runner made a series of improbable dodges while being shadowed all the way... in the end he was one square shy of throwing the potential game-saving block.”
