The Greatest handicap was fantastic, keeping a Mighty Blow Guard Longbeard off the pitch all match and leaving my opponent with 10 on defence in the second half.
The Cadavers started in defence and used up their opponent's Apoth on the first turn with a RIP foul. However, they had a player injured (and regenerated) so it was 10 vs 11 as the Dwarves formed a cage around the ball.
The Cadavers and Kazmodan mobbed up near the line of scrimmage with the Cadavers getting two more casualties to give them a player advantage and they eventually knocked the ball free.
A big tussle for the ball followed and the Cadavers had a difficult chance to score but were unable to pull it off.
In the second half, the Cadavers started with 11 vs 10, but were soon down 2 players as the Kazadrum started to do more damage with their blocks.
The Cadavers managed to swing the ball left before dashing to the right out of the range of any defenders and won the match 1-0 in a tough fought match.”
