“Coach Ryce was in an game winless rut when the handlers let him know of an Old World team named OSSUPARDS that was looking for a match against the best Dark Water had to offer. They could only field 10 players, but what ten players they were... lead by the mighty War Dancer WaR RioR the 2nd and a huge treeman.

The Gypsies were at the top of their game, with a full 15 player line-up. Ryce was determined to show the Old Worlders an old school beatdown! The Os kicked off to the Gypsies and they moved down the field quickly, with the Gypsies swarming the treeman and Drawbridge took him out of the game with a single well placed foul... his only of the game. Nightsong rifled the ball down the field to Jonez, who stole in for his first TD. The Gypsies were able to hold the powerful wardancer back from almost scoring a tie before the end of the quarter. Lightman also tried to stop a possible reception, but messed up the block and injured himself.

The Gypsies kicked off to the Old Worlders to start the second half and it took little time for wardancer to work down the field, blitzing and leaping his way to a tie... 1-1. Dave Han got the kick-off and passed it to Nightsong who threw it to Jonez again. Despite a sizable manpower advantage, the Gypsies struggled to move the ball down the field with War RioR stopping them at every step. Still, the Gypsies slowly overwhelmed the Os with casualties from Battler and Brimstone. Eventually the boys from Dark Water were able to corral the wardancer long enough for Jonez to score the winning td!

Jonez is starting to show his father's speed in the sprint. McDamage is becoming even a more powerful foe...first quick, now packing huge guns. Finally, Nightsong is getting better at getting rid of the ball in a hurry, out of fear of more tough wardancer blitzes!

The Gypsies are looking great, currently ranked in the top 80 human teams! And if you account for the team strength, then they are in the top 30! With plenty of room for growth with the young blitzers, catcher and lineman, could this be the beginning of the Gypsy reign?
