“This was a real grudge match. Our last meeting ended in bickering and we decided to settle the score by having a rematch.

The Big 'Urt had a horrible start when Grub failed a block against a treeman in round 1 and suffered a SI. After that it shaped up a bit though and with both treemen left prone the ogres could focus on targeting the little ones while the goblins caged their way through the pitch. nThatch had some amazing attempts to stop them, like a -2d block with 2 clean hits on the ball carrier, but all in all the first half ended with rather even luck and the gobbos could score their TD in the last turn.

In the 2nd half things turned really bad. For a while I could hardly believe my eyes. On his 5th or so block with his treemen he had succeeded in putting 2 SI's and a BH on my ogres and just everything seemed to work out for the halflings. Against all luck they dodged away from dive tacklers and cut their way through the ogres...but they lacked the final marginal that would have completed the TD.

It all turned out being a real nailbiter, but in the end the Big 'Urt managed to stop them from scoring...and that was fortunate, because I was virtually screaming in frustration in front of the computer after seeing so many weird casualties and blitzes failed because of failed bonehead rolls.

We now have one win each so the vendetta can be put aside for now. But one never knows...these two teams might face each other again!”
