“Again the Assassins came up against a stronger team and again they were pulverised into the dirt. The game started promisingly with a quick break down the left flank by new catcher Stuart with a great pass from Will into coverage the plucky slipped past 2 tackles to score (I won't go into details of the luck that went into some of those rolls).
Things went downhill from there with the Orc's sending Human after human to the apothecary table and one to the morgue. They equalised before half-time and it was only the whistle that stopped them scoring again.
With only 8 fit men to start the second half things looked very bleak for the Assassins who couldn't compete in the blocks and soon the Orc's had ploughed a hole through the defense (that seemed to spend most of it on their backs) and the smashers moved through to score what would be the winner.
A desperate break in the dieing minutes came to naught as Assassins mvp tripped trying to go those extra yards.
