“Well sportsfans it came down to the final match. The winner would take their show on the road and get a taste of the sweet life. The Chaos Dwarves of Permanent Plutocracy already knew what the sweet nectar of Premier tasted like, and they wanted it again! The Elves of Ariel Assault Armada were hungry for the fruit that had eluded them for several seasons already.

As the teams took to the field Permanent Plutocracy unveiled their new team banner to the approval of "Cash Money" the official fan club of Permanent Plutocracy.

Early in the 1st half a hired wizard in the employ of AAA unleashed what appeared at the time to be a dud of a fireball. Little did we know until later that it was actually a spell to disrupt the space time continuum. As the game slowed down considerably (after a disconnect, we couldn't get the game to work right, we decided to just play on) this distortion caused Lord Thompson to drop the ball on the way into the endzone. (I actually couldn't select him for 2 turns on the endline, but finally got enough players to him to chain push him into the endzone, where he promptly dropped the ball for some reason. That sucks but that's how it goes sometimes.)

The other highlight was a vicious foul to the BullCentaur Michael Dell and a failed apothecary resulted in another niggle bull. :o)

The half ended with no score.

2nd half started with a Chaos Dwarf Blitz, which almost secured the ball, but unfortunately not. The elves had a somewhat difficult time moving it downfield however, the AV 9, block, tackle, Mightyblow dwarves just didn't seem to have any skills that would allow them to remove AV 8, blodge, nancy pants elves from the pitch. Anyway, I digress, the elves worked it downfield and scored with no time remaining. Well played, well coached, well deserved promotion to Premier. I just feel I should be going too. :o)

(editors Note: It was reported this evening that a large brigade of lawyers entered city hall with a laundry list of allegations, aimed at head coach of AAA, bampf. The allegations included but not limited to:
Hiring a Wizard
Remotely disconnecting Da_Todfatha's computer from the internet.
Cooking, and bragging about it.
Owning lots of guns
impersonating peter pan

While we realize some of these may not be crimes, these allegations were filed.
