“Wow. Just wow. A game bloodier than the stats, the first few turns saw the Famous Vampires knocking out friend and foe alike. Poor Prophane rolled a whole bunch of ones for the OFAB early on, and really continued doing that through the game.

His opening drive stalled about half-way through the first half and I was able to hit the ball carrier with Freezing Frank. The ball bounced right back to him, and his block skill helped him evade the counter-blow. He got into the clear and scored with 1 turn to spare. Most of the KOs did not come back for the start of the second half, and being shorthanded did not help the Vampires at all. They did manage to knock the ball free once, but it was quickly recovered, and passed off to Fenris to be carried in for the score that iced the game.

The last few turns saw both sides kicking the ball around just behind the Vampire LOS, neither side able to secure it and advance. Certainly a mauling I didn't expect to see, with all the possible regeneration available. Prophane was a good sport about it, and I wish him luck recovering.”
