“I found this game very interesting, and I was prepared for an opponent who went for bash rather than playing the game, (no letdown there!).

Unfortunately, the first half went bad for me as far as statistics go, and he kept succeeding on every single Going For It.

Second half went a lot better, and I really couldn't help but gloat a little as his mummies fell over on every single GFI they attempted after he'd spent all his re-rolls.

Unfortunately, he took my chuckling over his failed GFIs hard and started getting a little personal, which was a shame - I usually expect my opponents to take bad luck in stride, but this one didn't and, well, what can you do? : )

After he commented on how all that had happened during the match was me getting beat up, I mentioned that I was winning, but due to a Bull Centaur failing three GFI rolls and a Throw-Ra managing to Long Pass to a Blitzer without any rerolls, he managed to score in turn 8 in the second half.

Not as perfectly ironic as when he managed to fall over while attempting a spite-foul on one of my hobgoblins, but still - that showed me!

This whole "statistics" business seems pretty far-fetched anyway. I reckon I should use tarot cards instead of mathematically predicting the chance of moves in the future.”
