“In what will surely be a contender for bloodiest match of the season Da' Rebel Fakshun beat the leagues rookie team, Cheatin' Skum, with a lucky touchdown in the final seconds of the 2nd half.
The tone of the match was set when a goup of Da Faksuns players ganged up on Shin Kick and broke his collar bone in a brutal tackle. It is known now that Shin Kicks career as a player is over and he has had to join the coaching staff.
Cheatin' skum retaliated the only way they new how, by "cheatin'". All thoughts of the ball were forgotten as half of the Skum mobbed Da Fakshuns front man 'Da Red Gobbo' -fouling him when down. 'Da Red Gobbo' once again luckily avoided any serious injuries as he vanished off the pitch with a laugh and a puff of red smoke.
The rest of the half devolved into an all out war with flying fists,chainsaws, ball and chains and the odd bite flying everywhere.
Skum managed to weather the storm and come out on top securing the ball on the half line but not having enough time to score.
The second half started where the first left off - the Skum's small team showing as they took to the pitch with just 7 players - Fakshun scraped up 9 due to luckily having some reserves.
In the opening moves, Skums Headbutt looked to even the odds by reducing Da Fakshuns numbers. Using a concealed dagger, Headbutt blocked Fakshuns Gazza Bormog, with a swift throat cut resulting in his DEATH! Fakshum being outraged at this outright cheating retaliated as any good gobbos would and used a cleaver to kill Headbutt!
Skum battled valiantly for the rest of the half taking fakshun down to their numbers.
With just 3 players left on each side Skum were boxed in by a ball weilding fanatic and a lunatic with a chainsaw. A misplaced strike by Skums own chainsaw wielding maniac saw Zoglugs armour save him from certain death enaabling him to make a lucky dodge to pick up the ball and score the games only touch down.
In his memory 'Headbutt' was awarded the MvP - much to the annoyance of the other Skums players who would have liked the glory to boost their own careers.
RIP Headbutt - may you rest in the peices in which you were found in.”
