“A terrible start to the season, as our orcs play like crap and the thralls amaze. The first half went well with the orcs leading 1-0; however, inflicted no CAS and 4 of 5 KOs woke up to return the thralls to full strength. In the second half, a 2d blitz, a very nice bounce was followed by some dodging, a pickup, a heave downfield, a nice catch and the thralls were away to tie the game a 1-1.
Do not fear! There is plenty of time left to still win the game, the orc coach proclaims:
The kick was deep into the corner and the sure-handed orc failed to pick up the ball. The thralls started to press forward and some orcs retreated to help...and again the thrower failed to pick up the ball. A nice blitz with a bit of gfi managed to drop the thrower. The orcs that had dropped back blitzed the thrall - but failed to knock him down on a 2d block...so the thrower had to dodge - failed the 3+ dodge with a RR...and of course the thralls pick up the ball without a problem and score.
But...do not fear! There is still enough time to gin a draw, the orc coach proclaims:
The next kick was on the LOS next to the troll...after blocking people away and pushing receivers down the field, a lineorc moved to pick up the ball...he failed of course...and the ball bounced to the troll - who caught it. On the next turn, even with the entire team urging him on...the troll fails his really stupid roll and the game ends.
But...do not fear! There is always tomorrow!

What you see as a terrible start, I would see as a very healthy one. My first (half) season, I had a 0-1-2 record, but my first full season saw me to 4-0-3. You scored and picked up a 7 pt bounty. Plus you don't even have a MNG. Not bad at all.
That said, you were robbed a bit. Your team was set to crush mine, but my luck (finally!) all came in the right times and places. But really, the most amazing luck came in the first half as I desperately tried (and failed) to stop you scoring a defensive touchdown. The amazing plays of the 2nd half (while amazing) mostly required only 3s and 4s, and of course, you failing your important rolls.”
