“This was indeed a hard fought game and the Orcs were on paper the stronger team coming into the match, though appearnces can be decieving and as such the Machine had hired a shaman to try and defend against the "tricksy pesky" Elves. The AG 2 and Dodge options in he Noble ranks was of concern to Coach Russo and he expected some tough turns ahead.

My notable opponent has alread described the match better than I could in the AFL Forum Thread, so I wont duplicate his valient journalistic efforts.

Instead I will sum up the game. Noble Calling did indeed maximise their agility advantage by using the dodge and run tactics and therefore left the Orcs a little flat-footed. That is even in a team with 4 players with +1 or +2 MA (these Orcs are superfast you know!!)

For the Orcs the critical moments were the two failed pick-ups in the first half, and the failed pick up in the second half, plus the Wizard being 1 square short when used.

Smelly Sausage was once again a star and scord two more TD's despite Coach Russo not deliberately encouraging this tactic. Troll Rudgat did get another casualty and and the STR 5 BOB Smashin' Steve picked up another 5 SPP's as Man of the Match for so notably fighting the Elven fans and losing out ^^
