A rape job and some silly mistakes by me cost me this game big time.

I started badly by not looking at what my players had and just assumed they all had Guard etc like my open team and took a Skull/Pow with my rookie Ogre instead of a push because I thought I had Block.

This allowed my opponent into my backfrield where he stole the ball and scored. I managed to tie it at half time.

Then in the second half, I stole the ball and was in the midst of setting up a pass to a Str 4 Blitzer who would score in the following turn when I rolled a snake-eyes on the GFI to avoid the pass blocker and stunned myself.

My opponent recovered the ball and scored to take it to 2-1.

I continued again to forget who had Guard and Block (just too impatient!) and did a couple of bad blocks, eg Ogre got double Skull/Pows when I thought I had set up a 3 dice block when it was only 2, and then later a one dice Skull with my Blitzer when I just assumed again that I had Guard ROFLOL.

I failed a dodge and my opponent scored again to win 3-1.

It was a fun game in parts, though I played quite crap, making lots of mistakes cos I kept playing the team as if it was like my open Orcs which had played 4 times as many games and every player except the throwers and a BOB has Guard LOL.

My opponent played very well to exploit my bad moves and also my bad luck and deserved to win.
