“I really hate coaches who complain about luck in their match reports, but IMO this match was exceptional, so I am going to write about it.

The game started out okay but my players just kept geting put into the injury box. I scored on the first down and had two saurus and a skink injured. I figured with a wizard I should at least be able to hold on for a draw.

Players kept getting injured, my opponent even joked it got to the stage he was dissapointed if a turn went by without an injury.

I played most of the second half with 3 players, two saurus and a skink.

I am not going to claim I SHOULD have won - my opponent played a great game. I do think I COULD have won, or tied, had a few more (okay a lot more) players stayed on the pitch.

There was a point when I had 3 players left, and wight didnt pick up the ball my skink managed to pick it up on a 5+ from that point i threw it to a saurus. Had I have not fumbbled the ball I could have pulled something off with the saurus needing a 5+ with a RR next turn to pick it up... ah what could have been.

Opponent deserved the win. Theropods are going to have to be rebuilt over the next one or two games, but no lasting damage on the saurus, so not too bad.”
