“We welcome you all to the home of the Pirates!

In this 1st match of the season, hopes were high on both sides. Copenhagen having just joined were kind of the underdogs, but after the Pirates bad friendly before the game, the game could go either way.

On one side we saw 10 dwarves take up there places to face the mighty chaos team at the other end of the half.

The owner of the Copenhagen team, Don, was with us before the game to give his predictions:

'I have spend months training these guys in the 100 different ways to hurt or kill an opposing player, im sure that they will do good out there!'

And from the looks of it, he was going to be right!. It didn't take long for the Chaos team to KO two dwarves, leaving 8 left on the field to fend for themselves, they did the best they could, but was finally overrun and the Chaos scored an early 1-0 TD which followed an amazing Interception by Beastman Dogmaggot.

After the 2nd kick off, things didn't look much better, and eventually the chaos team scored again in turn 8. Again it was Dogmaggot who was on fire and scored his 2nd Td of the match, and secured a skill for himself. Sure hands.

2nd half saw the dwarves shake things up a bit, but they never got to the chaos side of the field, and eventually had to conceed a 3rd Touchdown, this time scored by the Chaos Captain Thrashfoul.
The rest of the game was a mad defence from the dwarves to prevent a 3rd turnover and 4th Td, and they managed to hold of the Chaos just enough. They forced the Chaos team to try and pass, and naturally they failed and the game ended with a failed pass, 3-0 for the Chaos!”
