“*** Tales of the un-Christian-like, Chapter 3 ***
In this extremely tight match, the Mutineers proved to be difficult opponents. Also, some of the Soldiers were overconfident after their first two victories and were punished by the Chaos Gods. Our most skilled player Brian ruined a probable touchdown in the first half with a double skull and John Paul knocked himself over and failed his bonehead three times in a row. The Ogre failed everything he did and spent most of the match on the ground, despite the fact that the elves never even tried to block him. However, Luther saintly sacrified himself for the holy sake and was killed, but revived by divine intervention and later awarded the MVP! The skilled Beastman Calvin got his head smashed under less glorious circumstances and will sadly have to rest next match.
Well... In the end we were forgiven by the Gods. We managed to get several of the elves off the pitch and scored the only touchdown of the match in turn 6 of the second half, still under intense attack from the remaining elves. The Christian Soldiers proved to be lucky in the end, but well fought by opponent manager Buccaneer!
