A truly amazing match, against a gentleman of an opponenent. The Fruit Loops appeared on the path to destruction early, but faith in Nuffle was rewarded with a surge in the second half to level the game. Neither side ever strayed from the task at hand - scoring and preventing touchdowns!

Highlights:

Kiwi Goes For It to blitz Jerimiah Kool after Jerimiah unkooly dropped the ball. Kiwi rolled 1 for go for it. Rolled 1 on the re-roll. Roll for armor - broke armor. Rolled for Injury - 10+. Rolled for casualty - 6. Rolled for Apocethary - 1. RIP. Estimated odds: 1:13,330 against. Or... could it be that Jerimiah Kool was carrying a concealed weapon, and used it while his fans had "Gotten the Ref". You be the judge!

Nereus Doom fends off a quite surprised looking Raspberry and scores a nice touchdown.

Sadly - a crash erased an Assassin touchdown, and the game was reloaded - on the retry, the Assassins were forced to use a reroll to score. Ever optimistic, Fruit Loops discarded a reroll to even the score.

Last turn of the first half, Pineapple attempts a pass to go ahead 2-1, but wait! Fumbbl! The Assassins struck in a flash, and went up 2-1.

The Assassins took the kickoff and struck again in the second half, pushing to 3-1.

Up against it - Fruit Loops went for the long pass, and there it is! A fine touchdown from Blackberry brings them back to within a score.

The final drive - Enoch the Vengeful took the ball, and rushed up the sideline, his mates forming a protective curtain. Bellowing with rage, Dragon Warrior Raspberry dodged into the cage and smote Enoch with such force that the ball came loose, and landed right in Raspberry's hands! This turn of events so befuddled Raspberry that he was quickly swept under by the surge of Assassins. Odium Kahn took up the ball, and the Assassins looked sure to score, but wait! Lineman Grapefruit produced a spectacular blitz to dispossess the Assassins. Pineapple made a fine dodge between two Assassins and tossed the ball to Blackberry, standing on the touchline. With time running out and the game in the balance, Blackberry handed the ball to Tomato and the pass went up... in slow motion... Over Jerimiah's outstretched hands, and collected by Blueberry, who converted for the tying goal of the match.

3-3, a fun game all around, with excellent chances and play by both sides.”
