A fun match against a good opponent. The Bloodboyz got the kickoff from the start and slowly caged their way towards the end zone line, but bad blocking and an unlucky missed pass robbed them of their TD. Instead the elves had a perfect chance to score in their last turn and it took a heroic blitz through dodge zones from Ruk da Ravager to prevent it. When their chance to score was lost the witch elf instead crowd surfed my newly skilled-up guy. I informed mazzy that the gloves were now off.

In the 2nd half the elves recieved. The Bloodboyz had strolled down to the referee during the half time break though and whether through threats or money he put a blind eye towards all their activities for the rest of the match.

I set up some unskilled beastman near the edge and mazzy went for the bait. One of my guys was crowd surfed, but I know had an excellent oppurtunity to do some surfing of my own. While mazzy fumbled with the ball safely behind his LOS my troops bore down on their witch elf and blitzer, surfing the latter and leaving the witch elf prone. I still hadn't caused more than a simple stun during the match though and the foul didn't give result either, which enabled the sneaky elves to dodge their way to the end zone and pass the ball for a TD. It left me plenty of times to tie the match, but mazzy's gloating over the crowd surf's had set in motion and friendly but deadly challenge for revenge.

The Bloodboyz fans were furious at seeing their team getting held at bay by a team of dark elves. After three wins they couldn't accept facing a loss and stormed the pitch, dragging a bunch of dark elves with them and leaving the beastmen with only one player dragged down by the crowd. This not only opened up the field, it also opened up for a whole lot of nice fouling. While forming a cage another group surrounded the prone targets and went to work. A BH in the first turn, but in the second their main price was found. Syrocax II...the witch elf. Prone and alone. Ghar crushed her skull into the ground with his metal inforced boot and when the dark elves looked back to call in their apothecary they only found a well fed nurgling and some ripped shreds of clothing.

The dark elves never recovered from the pitch invasion and the following injuries, which enabled the Bloodboyz to run in a tie. I had bad luck in the first half, but I must admit that the match changed a lot in the 2nd and with both the ref and the pitch invasion plus a bunch of failed dodges and the failing apothecary I came off as the lucky one in the end.

Thanks for the match, mazzy. It's always fun to play a friendly grudge match! See you around!
