My first game with the rotter's and lack of ball control is one of their features. The wood elves outpaced the nurgled ones time and time again snatching the ball.
Trouble was the wood elves kept knocking players into the dug out! It was supposed to be the other way round. It was great to have one of the wood elves come over to our side.
Man of the Match: Yeesha - fro showing his true colours
“As the new Warseer league dawned at the specialised Renewed Balance designated arena, Root One, the talented wood elves and sworn enemies of the veteran Never Ahand, Always Afoot team, took the pitch with only one thing in mind: Elfballing.
However their minds were clouded as their first opponents emerged, bringing with them the stench from the underworld. Tenpole Rot were the first obstacle on the route to the trophy.
But Elfballing would have to wait! The elves were so incredibly pent up with excitement for the new season and were beying for the clamour of the game. One, two, three rotters players were immediately clattered off the pitch. The elves picked up the vulnerable ball, and sauntered downfield for the first TD of the season. And so it remained 1-0 until half time.
With their ambition and agility, the elves were practically unstoppable against the understrength Nurgle worshippers, running in two more TDs in the second half. The only black mark was Yeesha's being eaten by the foul Beast. Revenge will be sought.
Man of the Match: Come to Daddy. While his team-mates gave up, he stuck to the task.”
