“After thrashing PeteW I was a bit concerned about letting him pick the match ups for my 400th game, even someone as poor as Russo could still wreck a team with some luck.

When Russo managed 2 casualties in his first 3 blocks I thought I was in serious trouble, luckily my fans had got the ref and his retaliation fouls were as weak as his play. I decided to change my playing style and rather than concentrate on the ball tried to cause the Norse as much pain as possible and force them to score early. This worked well and Russo scored on turn 5 after using up all his re-rolls.
I then proceeded to stomp and foul my way up the pitch in a classic Orcy style, I got a bit complacent forgetting that even n00bs can get lucky after my ball carrier was knocked over on turn 7, but still scored on turn 8.

With ½ the norse team in the casualty or Ko box going in to the 2nd half I repeated the same tactic killing and maiming as I went. I was tempted to stall all half but wanted a 2nd shot at the KO’d mino so gave the Norse a chance to equalise. My generosity was rewarded with a perfect defence that led to a 3rd TD.

So a nice 3-1 victory with plenty of SPP for me, a dead and 2 niggled norse, good result.
