A bit of a dice rape job though with the Glory losing the ball at the start of the match thanks to a Blitz that allowed the Skaven team to get 6 players around where the ball eventually landed.
The Glory shut down the gap, but had to chase the Kneebreaker ball carrier all over the pitch. Late in the first half, the Glory finally recovered the ball, and were about to score but messed up a block upfield. (Although the Blitz and some crappy rolls screwed me during the half, I had myself to blame there as I did an earlier two dice block before the Double Skulls that would have been my two 2+ rolls required to score!)
In the second half, the Glory had a Perfect Defence and put a lot of pressure on Kneebreaker with their ball carrier again running backwards. The Glory had a chance to steal the ball or trap the ball carrier on the sideline next to two players but were unable to move the Gutter Runner (I had Tackle so had a good chance of Powing him, but I rolled double Push, rerolled to double Skull/Pow and this then left him with an easy 2+ dodge instead of having of being behind a Stand Firm Chaos Dwarf and a Hobbo with Tackle) and he dodged away to score.
The Glory pushed hard on the next kickoff and were about to score quickly but dropped an easy hand off (2+ require with reroll, and it missed, scatted back onto my other Bull Centaur who needed a 5+) and the ball scattered free.
The Kneebreaker managed to recover the ball, for the Glory to knock free again, but they again failed an easy pick up (3+ with reroll!). Then the Kneebreaker Gutter Runner dodged dodged dodged his way across and picked up the ball and threw it way downfield!
This left the Glory with a difficult play to pull off a draw and they just managed to pull it off (final turn, 3+ pick up, 2+ go for it failed, but rerolled, 4+ Short Pass, 3+ catch and 2+ hand off).
---------
A very fun game, but it was dice rape in a gentle way (at least no injuries for me) with the Blitz and my inability to win the ball when attacking his ball carrier or to pick it up whilst my opponent was able to dodge all over the place, pick up the ball in tackle zones etc.
He was always going to struggle with such a big Strength difference but my Troll missing the game really helped him. The game could have been won by me still despite all the crazy good luck for my opponent if I had not done the extra blocks on turn 8 with no rerolls, but hey, it was a fun game and I had a ball regardless of the unlikely and unfortunate draw hehe.
