I expect this to be a blood bath for the amazons really. On paper the CD's out classed the zons in every way... TR, TS and skills, and spare players. I started with 11 girls, one of which was a freebooter. All I could try and do was keep players out of trouble and try and luck my way to a draw/win.
After receiving in a blizzard it was going to be tough to score, so I held on as long as I could to see if I could find a way through the block tackle mighty blow dwarves... but no such luck. in the 4th turn my str4 catcher failed a dodge and BH'd herself. 0-1 to the CD's, despite trying to double skull their way to a gift to me... I skulled in reply on a1d block of the ball carrying centaur.
Only 0-1 down, and apoth still intact for the 2nd half, but despite some luck for my side, I couldn't get near the CDs carrier... who retrieved the ball from the back of the park.
The girls battled bravely, but despite constantly being proned, they didn't all get the mashing I thought they would, with plenty of stuns in effect, and towards the end of the game lots of KO's. Fortunately I was able to apoth the RIP, leaving me some players for next season.
Good game, should have finished higher in the table, but it was a strong group.”
