During the regular season, there had been no doubt who the better team was - as Montreal crushed St. Louis both times they played with little trouble. However, this time it was different. St. Louis had finally gotten enough guard and enough depth behind the startin 11 that they could stand toe-to-toe with the nasty Khermi. Montreal took the opening kickoff and both sides got the ref. St. Louis used their blitzers to crowd surf a pair of skeletons, and the fouls to KO two mummies and another skeleton was KOed as well...soon it was 6 Khermi against 8 Norse...and with the numbers, it was only a matter of time...and the ball was free - and the AG 3 thro-ra was badly hurt as well. Going the length of the field Carpenter scored to take a 1-0 halftime lead. Starting the second half, all the mummies were back...but quickly all 4 were on the ground again...then soon after, 1 was KOed...and the Khermi numbers were disappearing fast. Finally as Carpenter was moving downfield, a blitz hit the Montreal captain, Thong, hard...too hard...and Thong, the captain was gone. Carpenter walked in to make it 2-0 with about 4 turns left...but just a few pushes afterwards and it was over.

St. Louis pulls the upset and is ready for the finals!
