Basically I needed a win for a play off place, but Borgen needed just a draw as minimum.
Unfortunately for me Borgen's norse looked far better on paper, and even worse, they powed everything on the pitch. Despite some resistance the norse basically did an attempted pitch clearing job, with some nice crowd pushes etc.
Nearly stopped the norse with some desperate play in the first half but the norse eventually picked up and scored.
Second half was more of the same, with all my players pretty much out of the running and no way of scoring themselves, with Borgen 2-0 up. Of course, to make next season worse he threw in a turn 15 foul which I didn't particularly appreciate or see the need for, as the game he had 2 TDs and plenty of cas already, but hey... whatever floats his boat.
I have 11 players for next match assuming Actress II doesn't niggle out. Going to be tough, although Borgen thinks I'll have a strong team!
Anyway, he's off for a play off and I'm off to nurse my wounds.”
