Handy pre-game for the Theatre with Hall of Famers Groth & Mork having no problems with their niggling injuries and ADU picking up Palmed Coin and Extra Training, giving us the rarely sighted full 8 positionals to start the match.

The crowd was rather vocal and active as Raging Rick was stunned when someone threw a rock before the first kickoff. ADU received and got pleasantries underway in what was immediately looking to be a tough game - a Wolf, Zombie, Longbeard and Slayer all cleared from the pitch in just the first 2 turns. ADU switched play from one side to the other and took out the 2nd Wolf on turn 4, the Necros struggling to get back and cover on defence. Fortunately Displeased Dan got a bit over-enthusiastic and left the safety of the cage, presumably eager to register the first ever ADU Premier touchdown. Jigsaw stretched out with 2 GFI's to provide the assist, and Groth Paleflesh swings back to lay the blitz on Dan, knocking him out cold. The ball spills lose and Groth recovers on the next turn, but it's too far from the end zone to score in the time remaining. Fouls are exchanged in the scrappy last couple of turns of the half and Bitter Bob ends up with a concussion.

Nil all at half time. Those in the KO box come around ready for the 2nd half, leaving Norm the Zombie in the SI box, 2 BH Wolves and Dan out with his mng headache.

The teams line up for the 2nd half and strangely the 1st half Ref is nowhere to be seen. Theatre receive and start the half with a big gang foul on Jilted Joe (KO) and Groth scooping up the ball. ADU quickly form up a defensive wall which manages to hold up the drive, but in a big 4th turn both Slayers are cleared from the pitch - Tumultuous Tony from a Paleflesh crowdpush blitz and Quarrelsome Quentin from a Braingorger special. A hole opens in the line enabling the Theatre to get downfield and stall out the half, 2nd gamer Ron Ghastly picking up the TD from Groths reluctant handoff.

We end up with our first win against dwarves, after four tied matches on previous outings against KFC and Roughguts. Thanks toonook for a tough fun game.
