“About as good as could be hoped for against a very fast, and well coached, team.

The Mutations caught us napping starting our offense in the mid First Half, Blitzing us and scoring their second goal with stunning speed.

We settled down after that, and started doing what we do best, hitting.

Merikil made a late run to the End Zone, but couldn't get there, ending the First Half.

The Second Half had us chuckling behind our beards, as the Skaven side only fielded 6 players. We marched in good time, well formed and disciplined, and I was able to get an easy score. (Hi Moms!)

The LongBeards were laying about with a furor, so much so that the Rats refused to rise until after the whistle (and a goodly increment of time) had passed.

Not too sporting, but having seen Borl kill Katja, hard to blame them. Borl has a wicked uppercut, and a nasty gleam in his eye.

So, even with the loss, we feel we learned from our early mistakes, and will take the pitch in our next match quite improved.
