#8 Robert – Smashed Hip (-MA)
#1 Thaogh – Dead (RIP)
Bob: ... and its over, Jeff. Ramkheton's Curse beating the *beep* out of the McQuay. 2 to 0, what a drama.

Jeff: The McQuay had no idee how to deal with these Khemri. If there is something like a Curse of Ramkheton, it definetly got the Mac`s today.

Bob: Or has it, Jeff. After all the McQuay carry on being the least successful newcommers in the world of Blood Bowl.

Jeff: You name it, Bob. After all the Federation of Norseman declared, that the Mac`s could not possibly be Norseman after all. They suspect Amazons in man clothing.

Bob: What a delightful thought, Jeff. *thinking* Delightful and somehow disturbing.

Jeff: What, in your professional opinion, Bob, means the loss of star thrower Thaogh for the Mac`s?

Bob: Well, in first place that the odd are high for continuing thier series *lol*. But seriously, Jeff, as rumor has it, there is a brother out there by the inspiring name of Thaogh II. We will see, what the future holds for those brave men, ... possibly men.

Jeff: We most certainly do, Bob. Thanks for this Blood Bowl inside and now to lovely Lisa and the weather ...

Second challenge for the Cursed, this time issued by a team of bloodthirsty Norsemen!

Coach Babau is beginning to have mixed feelings about this mysterious Ramkheton. Whoever he was, he should not have been noted for his forgiveness, as the referee of the game discovered to his dismay.

In announcing the results of the coin toss, in fact, the fellow grossly misspelled the name of the team, calling it "Rakkethon's Curse" (in ancient khemrian "Rakkethon" means "son of a blind hippo"). The sky over the stadium suddenly darkened and the referee was incinerated by a mysterious lightning bolt.

After this strange occurrence, the khemri team actually frenzied with fear. They started to shuffle around babbling about "righteous wrath" and "eternal punishment" and talking about the necessity of a sacrifice to "appease the great one".

Coach Babau hereby wishes to ask forgiveness for the rather bad behaviour of his bony players that stalled, bashed and fouled for all the first half of the game before scoring the first touchdown.

In the second half, a new referee was hurriedly found and the game recovered some semblance of order. Still, with an 1-0 advantage and four enemy players still out of the field (2 KO and 2 casualties) the Cursed seemed more and more terrified. And believe me, a terrified mummy is a sight that can make a coach uneasy...

The khemri team slowly grinded its way to the second TD, while the sky was becoming darker and darker. The bony boys were frantic with fear.

Finally, near the end of the 2nd half, Nephit-Ra blitzed the opponent's thrower, Thaogh, breaking his neck. Suddenly the sky became clearer and the distant rumbling stopped.

And so the match ended. Coach Babau wishes to extend his congratulations to Coach Karfunkel for playing a tense game and being a very good sport. And also our thanks go to thrower Thaogh's brave soul whose sacrifice appeased the power that be.

Speaking of which...

...who the HECK is this Ramkheton??
