“A matchup in the second round of the rookie tournament in the FUMMBL Open. The Reapers and the Overlords had both won their previous matches and Chaos Dwarves and Wood Elves are the best teams out there in my opinion. The Reapers where a little roughed up from their previous game though and had only 10 players to field, which together with good tackle skills and some sure-hands on a hobgoblin gave the Overlords the upper hand from the start.

The Reapers where constantly plagued with bad luck. Just about the only luck they had this game, was not to sustain any injuries from having three players pushed off the sidleline in the first drive. The thrower Eol missed about 5 dodges in a row on 2+ and on the last one he got himself a niggling.

I didn't mean to smash them up so bad (well... I kinda did) but Nuffle was very clear about who he favorized this game. In the end of the second half the injuries came raining in and when the overlords made their last score there wasn't a single elf on the pitch.

I feel kinda sorry for GorgeouS who did the best he could, but look at the luck... He didn't whine about it at all though and was a really good sport through it all. I wish him the best of luck in the tournament, especially in the next game where he will have only 9 players from the start.

Well... at least no one died....
