Handicaps for us were ILLEGAL DRUGS (+st on James Hurley).
No niggles, but Meridian for the woodies was MNG.

Champions start on offense. We manage to kill our blitzer T1 on a rerolled onediceblock :), they manage to niggle one of their catchers. Both times apo works. They nadly hurt our key player Truffle with a foul T2. Then it all goes bad. They score easily. We try to get some blocks on the woodelf but arrows is all we see, and we position our players poorly. Of course, we play very poorly too, and have only two tackle players. We are lucky not to allow another TD first half.

Second half looks like this. I pick up the ball. I get blitzed with twodiceagainst, or oneagainst, and go down. I pick it up, and I get blitzed. Five times this repeats itself. Then our thrower does an amazing and lucky job getting the ball and passing it to James Hurley, only to see him go down (this time with a 2Dgainst), he is then fouled so i cant score in the last turn. Well played. Champions almost pull of an amazing TD in the last turn.

Well ,Champions ended first half with 4 rr left :). This shows how great of a coach Canales is. I had a hard time today, in part because the arrowGod and powGod was in favour of the elfs, but more importantly because Canales played better. For instance, I only had two tacklers and he did a great job positioning his players in a way so I couldn’t take advantage of them most of the time. Nicely done. Fun game. And hope to play the Champions soon again. 0-1 means I have improved a bit since my first ever F1-game, also against the Champions which ended 0-5.
