It took all the lads had to keep them on their backs more than their feet, and even so it was almost impossible to get in their backfield. And still, playing our best defense, they still managed a score.

We were down 0-1 coming out of the tunnel in the Second Half.

And, after being stifled for most of the Half, it looked bad.

But, with time ticking down, Merikil spotted an opening, ran headlong to it, and was tripped up. I was right behind him, so I scooped up the ball, headed upfield and saw the blocking fall apart. The Allstars were headed right for me, and I just dumped it off as well as I could to the nearest jersey the same color as mine.

It was Curry.

My heart sank, even as they knocked me to the turf, but Curry just gave a yelp of delight, and turned upfield...

I swear, if I hadn't seen it with 1000's of other witnesses, I would never have believed it. Curry SPRINTED. I mean, he ran his Dwarf butt off, and crossed into the End Zone just as the whistle blew, giving us the tie!

And then, to everyone's amazement, he laughed and started dancing, just like an Elf. The best looking Elf you ever saw.
