“I'm not playing much FUMBBL these days, but Azure arranged for this match. I quite enjoyed it - I'll still play games from time to time, and plan on being back on FUMBBL regularly when my schedule frees up again. (This will probably not be until January, though - my free time is being consumed by American Fantasy Football until then).
NBL Khemri don't stand much of a chance against Lizards - with his speed and a Wizard, I figured I'd need to take the game into overtime at 2-2 and win against a depleted squad. But without Userkaf (he niggled out) my scoring ability was very limited. And without him failing ball-handling rolls, I couldn't get my hands on the ball... And a Blitz for him sealed the deal”

Snake received in the first half and although we suffered a SI and a RIP (and our apoth failed us) - along with our Krox skulling on his first (and only) block of the game for a KO...we still managed to duck and weave until we scored near the end of the half.
The second half, we kicked deep, and then used the wizard to kill his ball carrier - picked up the ball and scored. After that the game was over - without a thro-ra and down 2-0, he was doomed...we got a blitz just to add insult to injury and scored again...but the continued fouls drained us in the second half until we had very few players left and some skeletons made the needed rolls with no RR left to score in the waning seconds of the game.”
