The fault is the offense, or lack of it. No two ways about it, if Merikil and I could manage to score, we would be winning these games.
The lads played amazing defense, and only a last minute fumble by Merikil lead to the one score on the day by the Elfs.
We need to wait for blocking, and then exploit the holes immediately. Especially against Elfs, it is just better to get into their half of the pitch. At least then someone can make a play on the ball, instead of what happened in the game today, where some Elf snags a tumbling ball and jogs 4 years to the End Zone to win the game.
Dammit.
