“A rough game for Arwen Streak. Playing for the ball - we built a solid 2-0 halftime lead and quickly opened it up to 3-0 to start the second half...unfortunately, the Orc coach declared "f*** the ball" and just bashed as much as possible for the rest of the game. The loss of a catcher and our ST 4 line elf is going to hurt in the finals - however, we will recover and prevail.”
The Orc Coach did indeed say "f*** the ball" but that was when his team was receiving 3-0 down in the second half , and the Elf side got a blitz that placed more of them nearer the ball than the orcs :P
The team did start with the intention of caging upfield slowly and scoring at the death, but the Kick skill meant that the Orcs were struggling to secure the ball each drive, and then conceeding straight away.
Once the score got to 3-0 the game was over for the Orcs as three in a half against 10 players with superior mobility is not going to happen, especially when they would in theory be recieving all three times.
The point was moot anyway due to the blitz making it 4-0.
