“Very bad start for my new ghoul that basically managed to get seriously hurt on the 2nd turn after his fielding.

Lots of risky moves from the stalwart elves that pulled out a very daring play on the first half to prevent me from scoring. That paid off and we were 0-0 at the kickoff of the second half, with a badly hurt elf in the pitch to boot.

Then, all of a sudden, the necromancers started to get real angry. In a few turns two elves lay dead on the ground (one of them actually rised up and shuffled to join the necro team) and another one niggled himself on a failed dodge.

The necro were making all their blocks with ruthless efficiency and the elves were more on their back than on their feet. To add insult to injury (and then some more injury) the last kick on the 8th turn of the 2nd half was a "blitz" so the flesh golem Jason got to move one last time and seriously injured another elf.
The match thus ended, with the blood-soaked necromancers hula-dancing together in the bone-littered field and the injured ghoul cheering from the pitch.

The elf team was retired after this carnage. Nuffle truly didn't smile on Coach lock89 this day. ”
