The game started with a let down from rookie troll Wednezdaze, as he tripped all over the line elf he was blocking, causing a turn over immediately after the gobbos had received the kickoff. After a fabulous kick right up against the line of scrimmage, the elves surrounded the ball as Uriel scooped it up and ran behind the safety of his fellow elves. The crowd went wild and all the injuries of their first game seemed to fade. A suprise aerial attack from Thurzdaze caught the Storms from behind, but fortunatly they were able to hold onto the ball and get into a protective formation. The goblins got into a formidable defensive position, but unfortunatly the elves were too strong for them. After breaking through the goblin line the elves spend the rest of the half waving the ball in front of the end zone and laughing sadistically as they thrashed the poor goblins about and ganged up on the trolls before scoring just before the buzzer.

At the beginning of the second half the Daze gave the Storms quite a scare as they nearly stole away their own kickoff following an unexpected blitz. Stealing the ball right on their own goal line, a confused Aislin tried to grab the ball with her face while buzzing on too many red bulls, and sent it sailing into the crowd. Fortunatly this put the ball away from the goblins and the elves were finally able to snatch up the ball and begin another drive of their own. After a couple cunning reverses, a sloppy pass by Jariza gave the gobbos another chance to steal away the ball, but fortunatly their Trolls were unable to throw their goblin teammates feet first. After another elf score, the gobbos tried one last time to get their aerial offense off the ground, but sadly the goblins ball handling skills left something to be desired.

A 2-0 Victory for the Storms, who once again have a full roster and an apothecary, are as ready as they can be for their final two games of their first season - both against truly brutish teams. Coach Spoonie hopes the Storms can keep themselves together...
