“The Gypsies decided to re-enter the tourney life with the Orca-Cola No-Limit Amorical Challenge! They squared off against a veteran dark elf team, PRAEFECTI EQUITUM and knew they had their hands full. Despite many old injuries, all of the dark elves showed up.
The Gypsies would immediately be down a td, when the dark elves managed to blitz and get the ball after a brief struggle. The Gypsies would score quickly, but so would the dark elves. A couple failed pick-ups and passes would mar an otherwise good half for the Gypsies. Brimstone, once again, showed team leadership by striking down two dark elves himself!
Still, even with a numerical advantage, the Gypsies were all but outclassed man-to-elf. In a desperate final effort, Brimstone would grab the loose ball and try to throw it to an open Lightman, but he would drop the ball, leaving the Gypsies one td short of making it to overtime.
Still, the newer members of the team are starting to mature. Lightman and Han both are improving in basic skills. And Frankie Cannon won MVP for his 'school of hard knocks' persistence in his first four games. With 15 players and a fairly deep roster, the Gypsies are looking for the long haul. In fact, they are the 47th best rated human team in existence (11th if you measure them on raw team strength alone).
Good luck with the tourney, Lord Dan. Hopefully you'll be able to take on my old rival, Da_Todfatha, later on!”
