Woohoo! I finally got me a win!

I needed this one, to get some confidence back. Of late I have been losing and doing terribly on offense. I tend to set up badly and be unable to form a cage, then try to rush forward with little support, out of impatience. Either that or leave the ball carrier unprotected.

Tonight, we had the same terrible start, due to a Blitz. However, despite the immense pressure exerted by the Whiners, I forced myself to play calmly and carefully, moving laterally serval times and keeping the football safe as first priority. After all, there is no rush, and Lizards can easily score in a turn or two at a push.

Eventually the Lizards' superior speed paid off, and we were able to advance with cover- and an unlucky Block left us with an easy score.

In the second half, the Whiners committed to a flank early, which allowed us to concentrate our counter and force the ball free for an eventual turnover score. It should be noted that after a good start, the Whiners' luck got worse as the game went on.

It also helped using an unbeaten team and playing against a team that has never won!

Good game dude! Sorry to win, but it was much needed!
